Blue Mountains Academy of Dance has been running for over 22 years. Our Principle Miss Anthea, has her RAD Solo Seal and Teaching Diploma, and been a professional ballet dancer for companies such as Ballet NSW and Ballet West. Blue Mountains Academy of dance is a friendly and inclusive school catering for the local community, where parents are encouraged to watch classes, and classes can be paid for either by the term or by the class. Many of our dancers have progressed to dance for major companies including the Australian Ballet
Babies Classes
Babies ballet classes are specifically designed for 2 to 5 year olds and are a fun and developmentally appropriate beginner ballet program that teaches the basic concepts of classical ballet, movement, music appreciation, rhythm and poise. Our babies ballet classes are designed to build confidence, teamwork and self-esteem in young children, and aims to foster a love of dance at the most magical time in a little dancer's life.
Senior Swans Adult Ballet
We offer RAD Senior Swans classes. The Silver Swans initiative has been developed for older learners so they, too, can take part in ballet classes.
